Bio
John Vanderloo, M.D., FAAFP
Dr. John Vanderloo is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Family Medicine and served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Vanderloo is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition, he is a Past President of the Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians, where he has served since 2012.
Notably, Dr. Vanderloo is a member of the Mississippi State Medical Association (MSMA) and was named an MSMA Doctor of Distinction in 2018. In 2022-2024, Dr. Vanderloo was the President of the Central Medical Society, the largest component society of the MSMA. He is currently serving as Vice-Speaker of the MSMA House of Delegates.

2023 Finalist in the American Cancer Society’s fundraiser, “Best Dressed of Jackson”
2020 and 2021, Finalist in the Jackson Free Press Best of Healthcare as Jackson’s “Best Doctor”
2021, panelist in the Enrich MS 2021 Virtual Vaping Summit, to help educate Mississippi’s youth about the negative health effects of e-cigarettes and vaping
2018, Healthcare Hero in the Mississippi Business Journal
Dr. Vanderloo also enjoys serving our community at the Mississippi State Capitol as Doctor of the Day during various times of the year. He is proud to serve Madison, Mississippi, and the surrounding communities, by providing a personalized approach to healthcare.
Dr. Vanderloo believes all individuals should have access to quality healthcare, and he realizes that prevention is key to a healthy lifestyle. He values life at all stages, from conception to natural death.
